Mini-Reviews: Yes Please, Famous Last Words

I have done a bit of reading over the past few weeks, though not a lot of reviewing went down. These were just books I hadn’t planned on writing full reviews on, since I didn’t really have time–or intention–to take notes and go in-depth with these.

The first mini was courtesy of Ford Audiobooks. Big thanks to them for helping me and a number of other people with the promo on Audible, ’cause it took quite a bit of effort (and refreshing) to get a copy of Poehler’s Yes Please.

The other book, Alender’s Famous Last Words, was a recommendation from a writing student of mine. She insisted I read the book. Actually, she’d shoved the book at me, gave me that crazy-eyed glint, and said, “READ IT READ IT READ IT.” So I did. Of course, I had her read Anna Dressed in Blood. It was only fair, lol!
